There is no doubt that hero Ram is one of the most energetic stars in Telugu Film industry. However, if we closely observe his career graph we will be surprised to see that his every other film is a flop or in other words his every other film is a hit.
To begin with he debuts with super hit with film ‘Devadasu’ and also wins Film Fare award for best male debut film. And it was followed by a dud film ‘Jagadam.’ Again he has delivered a hit with his ‘Ready’ and ‘Maska’ films countered by a failure ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna.’ Then he delivers his super hit film ‘Kandireega’ but again nicely balanced it with two subsequent flops ‘Endukante Premanta’ and his latest ‘Ongolu Gitta.’
Hence, if we go by this thumb rule we can assume that his next film is going to be a big hit. As if he is unknowingly acknowledging it, has signed a remake of super hit Hindi film ‘Bol Bachchan’ played by Abhishek Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. Perhaps, this film exactly suits his energies and style as it was also a comedy entertainer. Ram is co-starring with victory Venkatesh in this film to be directed by K.Vijay Kumar. Sravanti Ravi Kishore and D.Suresh Babu are jointly producing this movie.
However, Ram’s next film will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, who failed with ‘Andhala Rakshasi.’ Though it is prejudice to write off another failure in director Hanu and Ram’s accounts, they have to be very careful in treating the film, otherwise it will underlines the thumb rule of Ram’s alternative failure.
So far, Ram has been selecting typical stories of comedy mixed action films, but has never tried to come out of his track for doing pure romantic films playing lover boy roles. It appears he prefers stories that showcase his energies and not anything else of his acting skills. Probably, this might be one reason for 50:50 success rate in his career graph.
