The diva was born in 1991 in Mangalore, in Karnataka and celebrating her 21st birthday today. Hansika has started her industry career as a child artist in 2003 and her first movie as heroine is Desamuduru [Telugu] that also won her first the Filmfare as a debutant actress in 2007. Later Hansika has no turning back in her career and so far acted in 15 films as female lead all together in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Besides movies, Hansika is also quick to take up social responsibilities. At a very small age of 19 the actress has helped 20 children economically for their studies and a year after added 2 more. Latest we hear is Hansika is keen to set up an Old age home for helpless elders. Hansika has become a role model helping the needy in addition to entertaining audiences.
Meanwhile Hansika is presently busy with five films in her kitty out of which 4 are Tamil movies and one in Telugu. Hansika is playing the lady lead in Arya’s Settai, STR’s Vaalu and Vettai Mannan along with Suriya’s Singam 2.
